This dictionary is built for learners: every entry has Turkish meanings, real example sentences, IPA and audio in two accents. Here is how to use it well.
Search in either language
Type an English word (resilient) or a Turkish one (dayanıklı) in the same box — the results come from both sides. The English → Turkish / Turkish → English switch only decides which side ranks first when both match. Typing a whole word opens that entry directly; add nothing else to see the full list, or press Ctrl + K (or /) from anywhere to jump into the search box.
You do not need Turkish letters: kopek finds köpek, guzel finds güzel.

- US / UK buttons play the pronunciation in each accent; the IPA next to them is that accent's transcription.
- The level row (A1–C2) shows where the word sits on the CEFR scale — see CEFR levels explained.
- Synonyms, antonyms, collocations, related words and usage notes are generated with AI assistance and filtered automatically. They are a learning aid, not a final authority: when something looks odd, trust the definition and the examples first.
- The Phrases box lists idioms and expressions built on the word.
Save, organise, practise
Create an account, tap the ☆ on any word to save it, and group words into lists (there are ready-made ones such as Core B2 Vocabulary or Irregular Verbs). Then open Study: flashcards and quizzes use spaced repetition, so a word you find hard comes back sooner and a word you know comes back later.
