Used in questions to ask for more detailed or precise information.

• What exactly did the doctor tell you?
  Doktor sana tam olarak ne söyledi?
• Where exactly do you live in Istanbul?
  İstanbul'da tam olarak nerede oturuyorsun?

In a careful and accurate way, without any mistakes.

• Follow the instructions exactly or the cake won't rise.
  Talimatlara harfiyen uyun, yoksa kek kabarmaz.
• Measure the window exactly before you buy curtains.

Used as a reply to say that you agree completely with someone.
