him

Used as the object of a verb or preposition to refer to a man, boy or male animal.

• They invited him to the party.
  Onu partiye davet ettiler.
• I gave the book to him.
  Kitabı ona verdim.

Used instead of he after the verb be, after than or as, or on its own.

• That's him, the man in the grey jacket.
  İşte o, gri ceketli adam.
• My sister is much taller than him.
  Kız kardeşim ondan çok daha uzun.

Used, especially in older writing, to refer to any person whose sex is not known.

• If a customer complains, listen to him carefully.
